Teen’s Pokemon hunt ends in stitches

A Form Three student got more than just Pokemons during a hunting trip; he went home with stitches on his knee too!

According to a report by the China Press, as translated by The Star Online, the boy fell and hurt his leg after being chased by a dog while playing the augmented reality game in Malacca on Sunday.

The boy’s father, Lim Ah Chai, told the Chinese daily that the boy had followed him to his restaurant in Taman Muzaffar Syah but left around 2pm to catch Pokemons.

“I received a call from him about half an hour later that he had fallen and hurt himself. He caught four Pokemons but fell into a pothole after being chased by a dog.

“He received three stitches and the medical bill came up to RM400,” he was quoted by China Press as saying.

He added that he had deleted the game from his son’s phone after the incident.
