Facebook users have been sharing shocking footage of a 60-year-old motorcyclist being kicked over while riding by a fellow driver over the last 24 hours. The incident occurred on Gurney Drive in Penang yesterday at 3pm.
The video has since been watched nearly 100,000 times.
The victim was on his way home, having just been at a nearby mosque. While overtaking the senior citizen, the suspect suddenly kicked him, causing him to fall by the roadside.
The events were captured on a motorist’s dashcam, whose footage was then uploaded to news and media source Penang Kini’s Facebook page.
Police have identified dashcam’s owner, and will be questioning her this afternoon with hope that she can aid their search for the suspect. Investigators are also asking any witnesses to come forward with any information.
The victim was taken to Penang Hospital with several injuries to his body, and reported chest pain. A police report was then lodged by the victim’s son.
