PM Najib Razak: Cabinet reshuffle? What Cabinet reshuffle?

Prime Minister Datuk Seri Naijb Tun Razak brushed off rumours of an imminent Cabinet reshuffle.

“I’m not aware,” he said in response to press questions about the reshuffle rumours, while conducting an official visit to Turkmenistan.

The Malay Mail Online, based on several sources, reported that Najib was considering a major overhaul of his administration’s Cabinet, beyond the expected inclusion of new MCA president Datuk Seri Liow Tiong Lai and Gerakan president Datuk Mah Siew Keong, who was allegedly promised a ministership for winning the recent Teluk Intan by-election against the DAP’s Dyana Sofya Mohd Daud.

The new line-up, if indeed there will be one, could be announced as early as this Friday, and at the latest after Hari Raya, which is expected to fall on July 28.
