If no one’s going to say it, then we’ll say it, some Malaysians have serious daddy issues.
From labelling our former PM Muhyiddin ‘Abah’ to now trying to call Anwar Ibrahim ‘Papa’, you are all an unstoppable bunch. However, while the majority of the public appreciates the humor, it did not sit well with our latest premier (although we are pretty sure he knew his reply would send the internet laughing).
Earlier today, Twitter user @mirulwrld replied to Anwar’s tweet on cronyism with ‘Selamat pagi papa’ (good morning papa), this prompted a reply from the PM who responded with, ‘pls- don’t do that’.
pls- dont do that

The responses that came after Anwar’s reply were, of course, full of memes and jokes.
Malaysians were definitely humoured by the premier’s response.

Anwar was sworn in as the country’s 10th prime minister on November 24 and now leads a 27-member cabinet that comprises a coalition administration with Barisan Nasional and a bloc of Sarawakian parties.
