Slabs of concrete from an LRT construction site fell and tore a hole in a vendor’s tent close to Pasar Besar Meru, Klang. However, no injuries or casualties were reported.
The Klang Municipal Council said on social media that the incident occurred around 9:30 am.
The construction site is involved in the development of the LRT3 track.

After being informed of the incident, the LRT management halted construction work in the area.
“The stall has been ordered to close immediately to avoid any untoward incident.
“The LRT3 management has also stopped the construction work,” the Klang Municipal Council said.
