Malaysia’s most famous thespian export, Michelle Yeoh, has a few choice words of warning for alleged (by pretty much everyone) sexual predator, accused rapist and former studio head Harvey Weinstein.

When asked this week whether Weinstein had ever sexually harassed her, Yeoh replied that he had not. However, she then quickly added that if he had, she would have unleashed the full-extent of her martial arts knowledge.

“Any man who treats women with such disrespect and contempt should be prosecuted to the full extent of the law,” Yeoh, who will soon be making a re-appearance in the TV series Star Trek: Discovery, told the Associated Press.

She went on to say that while she knew of Weinstein’s bullying, and that he was “not always honorable,” she had not seen his sexual predator tactics herself.

“I wasn’t exposed to this side of him, otherwise he would have experienced the full effect of years of martial arts training.” We hope this included at least one flying kick — and possibly the debilitating use of some strategic nerve points.

Weinstein and Yeoh have collaborated often during their respective careers, often crossing paths since Weinstein was a big supporter of the Asian action genre.

Weinstein distributed a number of Yeoh’s films during his years running Miramax. When he later went on to found The Weinstein Company with brother Bob, he continued a working relationship with the actress. Weinstein Co. served as one of the producers of last year’s Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny, the sequel to the blockbuster original.

The company was also the producer of the Malaysia-shot, Netflix series Marco Polo, in which Yeoh had a role.

The disgraced former studio head stepped down from his job at The Weinstein Company this week after dozens of women came forward to accuse and detail decades of sexual harassment by him.
