According to The New Straits Times, the man and two of his friends were travelling on the Maju Expressway on Thursday evening when the vehicle suddenly caught fire.

All three men, who are in their 30s, managed to ditch the car in time, but one of them soon complained about breathing difficulties.

Mohd Sani added that eight firemen were dispatched to the scene to control the fire.

“The fire was put out by 6.30pm but the vehicle was completely burnt,” he was quoted as saying.
