Man survives 12 meter plunge after motorbike crash on Penang elevated road

A motorcyclist is lucky to be alive after being flung 12 meters down an elevated road in Penang yesterday morning.

The unnamed 33-year-old man, from Kuala Lumpur, broke his leg in the accident that occurred on Jalan Tunku Kudin near the Tun Dr Lim Chong Eu Expressway.

According to The Star, police say that on approach to a roundabout heading towards the bridge, the man lost control of his high-performance motorbike and crashed into the divider, falling below.

He is currently in critical condition at Penang Hospital.
