A woman was recently slapped by a random elderly woman at the Hang Tuah LRT station in Kuala Lumpur yesterday.

Taking to Twitter, @pei_loy titled her thread ‘I WAS SLAPPED BY A CRAZY AUNTY AT LRT HANG TUAH’ and asked her followers to take the time to read it so that they can avoid the same thing happening to them.

In the thread, she recounted how a random old lady slapped her on the face as she was lining up to exit the train. Upon realizing what had happened, Pei and her friend shouted loudly to ask for help from the auxiliary police at the station.

“Based on their (the police) observations, the aunt appears to be mentally ill. I feel very sad and hurt because apart from making a report, there is nothing I can do,” Pei said.

“Next, when we went to platform 1 at the same station, we saw the lady that slapped me in the face. We proceeded to point her out to the police so that they are aware that she was still at the station.”

“My friend decided to approach the aunt and scolded the aunt while the police followed behind him. The woman then screamed at my friend and tried to get on the LRT to escape,” the thread read.

After realizing that there was no escaping, the woman threw in another slap but this time directed at Pei’s friend which caused a crack in his glasses.

It was only after this incident that the woman was arrested and taken away by police.

Pei then went ahead and lodged a police report against the woman and thanked the police for doing their job.

“Finally, I managed to go to the police station to file a report. My friend and I would like to express our highest appreciation to the members of the PDRM, especially the auxiliary police, for their dedicated service, commitment, and sacrifice in solving this problem,” she wrote.

In her thread, Pei joked that perhaps god is tired of her and sent someone else to slap her instead. However, she also said she was still traumatized by the event and gets scared every time she sees someone who looks like the lady who slapped her.
