Rush-hour commuters were left shocked yesterday evening when a motorcycle traveling between Singapore and Malaysia caught fire at Woodlands Checkpoint.

Passers-by were able to record a video of the incident, and uploaded the clip to Twitter late yesterday evening, where it has since gone viral.
Singapore Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) officials confirmed the incident, and added that no one was hurt, and the fire was extinguished almost immediately. While they are investigating the cause of the accident, it is believed that the bike overheated.
Images uploaded to social media indicate that the bike was carrying a Malaysian license plate.
