Alert, alert: Twenty-eight-year-old Malaysian Kimberley Ho, founder of Evereden, a brand that produces non-toxic skincare products for children, has just made it to the annual Forbes 30 under 30 2019 list.

Kimberly moved to the United States ten years ago to attend Stanford University, and after graduating, worked on Wall Street as a consumer brands investor.
Between her work, and new-parent friends, Kimberly saw the need for “safe, natural” formulas in the childcare market.

Launching Evereden in both the US and China in May 2018, she has had her products praised in Vogue, and by beauty industry legend, Bobbi Brown for heavily-researched formulas that engage top pediatricians and use the most recent technology, with a natural and organic ethos.

Speaking to Business Insider earlier this year, she told the publication that she had recently rejected US$2 million in unsolicited venture capitalist offers:
“There’s no such thing as a free lunch,” she said. “With VC funding, strings always comes attached,” and Ho hopes that she can guide her brand to “still be here in 100 years,”
An earlier interview in Forbes in May revealed that the enterprising Malaysian initially studied economics, later moving on to Goldman Sachs, and then to Oaktree Capital.
Ho had an epiphany to start her brand after realizing that many of the products her friends back home requested for their babies weren’t made entirely of safe ingredients for children. She then quit her job to pursue creating a natural brand that offered parents peace of mind.
