A group of men assault, kill teenager near Subang Airport

A teenager was killed after he was rammed into by a car before being assaulted by a group of men near the Subang Airport on Monday night.

According to The New Straits Times, 19-year-old R. Devrar was riding on a motorcycle with his friends at around 3am when a car came from behind and rammed into them as they were approaching a roundabout.

One of the suspects reportedly got down from the car and allegedly started beating Devrar up as his friends managed to escape.

Petaling Jaya district police chief Assistant Commissioner Mohd Zani Che Din told the daily that Devrar was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead upon arrival.

“The victim’s brother, who was also at the scene during the incident, lodged a police report today. We have recorded his statement and that of his friends,” ACP Mohd Zani was quoted as saying.

ACP Mohd Zani added that two suspects, aged between 18 and 27, have been arrested so far, and the police are still on the hunt for seven or eight more suspects believed to be involved in the case.
