No guys, once again, Malaysia’s fifth prime minister isn’t dead.

A former press secretary to former Prime Minister Abdullah Ahmad Badawi came forward yesterday to quash the second hoax this year about his death.

The 82-year-old, also fondly known as Pak Lah, is currently on vacation, Izad Raya told reporters yesterday, hours after a Facebook post announcing his former boss’ passing went up.

“The news is fake, as I have talked to his son. Pak Lah is healthy and is currently on a vacation with his family in the country,” Izad said. He also urged those spreading rumors to find better things to do. The first rumor about his death this year circulated in June.

Abdullah served as prime minister from 2003 to 2009 and has been out of the spotlight since his resignation.
