Class is Canceled: Over a hundred college students come down with food poisoning

School officials are reporting that 110 students at a local university college in the Kajang, Selangor area needed to receive medical treatment after falling victim to suspected food poisoning.

All students at a school in Bandar Seri Putra, the 90 female and 20 male victims all complained of stomach aches, diarrhea, and vomiting.

According to an official linked to the college, the mass of students began to feel ill yesterday shortly after evening prayers, and were ferried to the nearby Serdang Hospital for further treatment at around 8:30pm.

It was only the induction week for the students, who were on their fourth day of an orientation program. Meals had been procured from an off-site catering service.

All are expected to make a full recovery.
