Family members of 15-year-old Nora Quoirin have taken to Facebook to appeal to anyone in the Seremban area who may have seen the teen after she went missing last night at a rainforest resort near the town.

Nora is described as having learning difficulties, and was on a family trip in the area, about an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur, when she disappeared at the picturesque Dusun Resort.

The teen was last seen by her family members when she went to bed on Saturday night; however, when they went to look for her the following morning, her window was open, and her room empty.

Police are mobilizing their canine unit in an attempt to find the young girl, who is estimated to have gone missing in the early hours of Sunday morning. There is no clear indication on why the teen would leave her room, or if any other parties were involved.

A “friend of the family” who spoke to the British press on Sunday said that “to [her] knowledge the French government and the Irish government are helping them.” Nora’s mother was born in Belfast, while her father is French. The family currently live in London.

The Dusun is a popular resort, located on the edge of a nearby rainforest, 20 minutes from Seremban, and an hour outside of Kuala Lumpur.

Anyone with any relevant information has been asked to contact the authorities.
