Dramatic events ensued Sunday night at a Seremban restaurant, one hour outside of Kuala Lumpur, when a 24-year-old Thai man was stabbed to death in the Taman Bukit Emas neighborhood of the town.

The event occurred at 9:50pm, and saw the victim getting attacked by his fellow co-worker at the eating establishment with a vegetable knife.

Investigators say that their initial findings indicate that the two were involved in a disagreement after the elder victim reprimanded his younger colleague in a work-related matter.

Bystanders captured the moments that ensued following the fatal stabbing, and how members of the public physically held down the assailant while they waited for police.

We advise caution when watching the clips, as they do show the crime scene, although they largely capture the suspect being restrained.

Speaking to Harian Metro, Seremban police described the incident:

“(A fight broke out) at the back of the kitchen, and the suspect picked up a vegetable cutter and slashed the victim’s neck.

“The victim’s sister and several customers who were at the restaurant immediately apprehended the suspect.”

Police were alerted of the incident, and rushed to the scene, finding both the suspect, the weapon and his victim. Medical officials pronounced the victim dead, and his body was sent to a nearby hospital for a postmortem.
