Rosmah Mansor, the wife of Malaysia’s former prime minister, was arrested Wednesday by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission, the country’s anti-graft agency, over the multi-billion-dollar 1MDB scandal.

“Rosmah has been arrested,” her lawyer K. Kumaraendran told AFP after she was questioned at MACC headquarters. Her husband Najib Razak has been hit with a string of charges including corruption and money laundering.

Local media is reporting that she will be charged with money laundering tomorrow. The news comes straight after both she and her husband, Najib Razak, were questioned by the MACC today, with Najib leaving quietly shortly before it was announced that his wife had been placed under arrest. It was her third time being questioned by the agency.
