What do you do when a hotel refuses to give you more towels?
For one couple, they decided to teach the hotel a lesson – by throwing wet towels at a hotel receptionist’s face.
Umm, okay.
A couple caused quite a scene at the Syuen Hotel in Ipoh when the hotel declined to give them more towels.
According to China Press (translated by The Star Online), the incident reportedly happened at around 12.30pm on Thursday.
The couple had reportedly requested for more towels from the hotel’s housekeeping department, but the hotel had to turn their request down as they had earlier provided the couple with extra towels.
Angry at being rejected, the couple allegedly threw the towels into their room’s toilet bowl.
Oh no, that’s not the end of the couple’s towel-filled rampage though; moments later, the wife reportedly marched down to the hotel’s front desk and allegedly threw wet towels at a receptionist.
A video of the incident, believed to have been captured by the hotel’s CCTV camera, has been making its round on social media:
Maggie Ong, the director of the Syuen Hotel, confirmed the incident.
She told the Chinese daily that the hotel would supply each room with four towels, and the hotel had earlier provided the couple with several more as per their request.
However, when the couple asked for more towels again, the hotel turned them down.
Ong also added that during their stay at the hotel, the couple kept asking for extra pillows and towels.
Boy, this is the true definition of customers from hell.
