Crazy Rich Asians actress and Bond girl Michelle Yeoh is set to make an appearance in her second Marvel movie, Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings.
The former beauty queen, who celebrates her 58th birthday today, recently sparked online rumors about her new role as a character in the superhero flick when she posted photos of herself in Sydney, where filming for Shang-Chi has resumed.
Yeoh posted several photos on her social media accounts, one of which showed the actress wearing a mask while walking around outdoors in Sydney,

Checks on the Internet Movie Database, or IMDB, confirmed that Yeoh will be starring in Shang-Chi, alongside Canadian actor Simu Liu and fellow Crazy Rich Asians actress Awkwafina, whose real name is Nora Lum.
Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be Marvel Studios’ first film featuring an Asian lead and is set for release in May 2021. Based on Marvel’s comic series called Master of Kung Fu, Shang-Chi is a superhero of Asian descent who is proficient in all forms of martial arts – just like the legendary Bruce Lee.
This will be Yeoh’s second role with Marvel. She played superhero Aleta Ogord in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 that premiered three years ago.
