Fans who have been waiting with bated breath can finally look forward to the BTS pop-up store in Selangor.

The pop-up dedicated to South Korea’s biggest boyband will feature a replica of the group’s iconic stage sets and a variety of merchandise inspired by their Map Of The Soul album. It will open to fully-vaccinated fans at the 1 Utama Shopping Complex tomorrow – a final stop for the roaming exhibition that kicked off in Singapore last year, followed by Manila, Taiwan, and Bangkok. The pop-up arrived in Malaysia late due to COVID-19 lockdowns.

Till Jan. 31, fans can take photos with various stage props that were featured in the group’s music videos. Nobody knows which ones will be set up in Malaysia until tomorrow’s public reveal. One exciting option would be the Renaissance-inspired set-up from Blood, Sweat and Tears that had an obscene amount of chandeliers and velvet.

Merchandise that will go on sale include AirPod cases, hoodies, gel pens, face towels, posters, and BTS-animated figurines aka ‘TinyTan.’

The latest fan offering by BTS, made up of Jungkook, V, Jimin, RM, Suga, Jin, and J-hope, comes just months after fans were treated to a tasty collaboration with McDonald’s. Some kind-hearted fans even treated healthcare workers and children to those meals.

Fans arriving at the store are required to comply with the following COVID-19 measures:

  • Fully-vaccinated shoppers must present proof of vaccination.
  • Only 30 people will be allowed in the store at any one time for up to 45 minutes.
  • Wear a mask.
  • Register at the entrance and join a queue.
