Local comedian Harith Iskander was in Johor Baru recently, and he found the perfect tour guide.
In a 30-second video clip which he uploaded onto his Facebook page, the funnyman was seen traveling in a vehicle with none other than the Crown Prince of Johor, Tunku Mahkota of Johor Tunku Ismail Ibni Sultan Ibrahim, himself!
“I’m just getting a little tour of Johor with your normal, average, everyday tour guide…His Royal Highness The Crown Prince of Johor,” he joked in the clip, which went viral on Facebook.
“So normal… just another Wednesday for me,” he added, drawing a round of laughter from the royal and Alistair Edwards, the sporting director of Johor Darul Ta’zim (JDT), who sitting at the back of the vehicle.
Throughout the whole ride, Tunku Ismail was seen smiling and grinning from ear to ear as he drove the 49-year-old comedian around in his left-hand drive vehicle.
“And he’s so brave, he’s driving left-hand drive some more. It’s like, I’m sitting on the right-hand side and I feel awkward,” he added.
Later in the clip, Harith thanked Tunku Ismail for the lift, to which the royal replied “no problem” and “no worries, anytime”.
In his posting, the comedian felt blessed to have “someone who’s knowledgable about Johor actually drive me around”.
