Malaysia may have bad drivers, corrupted politicians, and way too many shopping malls, but we can all unite on one thing: the Burger Ramly.
Their burgers are an all-time Malaysian favourite and their patties have been enjoyed by many generations.
Recently, a vlogger from England, known as ‘Eli’ dubbed Malaysia’s popular Ramly burger as one of the best burgers he has ever eaten.
Based on his vlog, Eli was staying at one of the hotels in Kuala Lumpur and said he was recommended to check out a burger stall near where he stayed.
As soon as he arrived at the burger shop, Eli seemed surprised because there were already several customers in line, who have been waiting for their orders for more than 40 minutes.
He then proceeded to order a double cheese burger that costs RM10 (US$ 2.29).
“The beef is very juicy. The sauce is sweet. The bread, baked nicely. One of the best burgers I’ve ever eaten. I love it, man,” he said.
Eli enjoyed the rest of the Ramly Burger and gave a thumbs-up to the burger stall seller and said “boss, the burger is delicious”.
The Ramly brand and burgers are well-known among Malaysians as the pride of Malaysian street food.
