Renowned Japanese-Peruvian restaurant Nobu has relocated its Kuala Lumpur restaurant from the Menara Petronas building to the Four Seasons Place.
The new outlet opens today, a little more than three months after it closed its original home of six years. Nobu, owned by celebrity chef Nobu Matsuhisa, now boasts an island kitchen where diners can watch as chefs prepare sushi and sashimi, as well as tableside experiences where chefs prepare dishes right next to them.
“All these new features that we’re introducing much like the tableside experience are sure to elevate the guest experience and supplement our world-renowned Japanese-Peruvian cuisine that our guests enjoy,” executive chef Philip Leong said in today’s statement.
The restaurant will also serve new fusion dishes such as pan-seared scallop with yuzu truffle sauce, New Zealand lamb chop with rosemary miso, and freshwater prawn with anticucho hazelnut sauce.
As for drinks, a bar near the entrance serves various sakes, cocktails, wines, and even fruity mocktails for those who prefer a non-alcoholic pick-me-up.
