A primary school teacher is facing jail time for soliciting nude photographs from underaged girls, including an eight-year-old girl, through a mobile phone game.
The 38-year-old teacher, who teaches at a school in Sham Shui Po, had reportedly lured victims into sending photos by gifting them rare in-game weapons in exchange, according to an Apple Daily report Sunday.
The teacher, who is believed to have solicited the pictures over a two-year period, also reportedly video called the underaged victims and asked them to touch themselves.

Police found around 20 pictures and three video clips of underaged girls in his mobile phone. The man has been preliminary dealt charges including use, procurement or offer of persons under 16 for making pornography, indecency with children under 16, and possession of child pornography.
The man is set to appear at the Sha Tin Magistrates’ Court Monday.
The incidents were brought to light after a mother discovered indecent pictures on her eight-year-old daughter’s phone. After asking her daughter, she learnt that she had gotten to know the man through a mobile phone game, “Identity V,” and that he had been sending her in-game weapons in return for her photos.
According to an initial police investigation, the victims include at least seven underaged girls.

The man reportedly chatted up the underaged girls in the game and sent them weapons for free at first. After some time, he obtained their contact for other social media platforms and started talking to them outside the game, luring them into sending nude photos and talking to him via video call in exchange for more virtual weapons.
There is currently no evidence that the victims include students of the teacher.
