Police have arrested a second teenage girl in relation to a viral video featuring two girls filmed relentlessly kicking and slapping another young woman in a now-viral video.

Apple Daily reports that the latest suspect is a 15-year-old high school student who was also arrested in Tuen Mun on Wednesday night, one day after a 17-year-old girl suspected of being one of the people filmed carrying out the assault was arrested on suspicion of assault occasioning actual bodily harm.

The newspaper reports that the 15-year-old was arrested on the same charge, a preliminary investigation found that she also didn’t have a triad background, and she’s currently being held for further investigation.

Police at a press briefing on Tuesday night say they believe the incident — in which a 15-year-old girl was filmed being slapped and kicked by two other girls over an argument about a guy — took place at a public housing estate in Tuen Mun over Lunar New Year, and that they wouldn’t rule out further arrests.
