Ladies and gentlemen, meet the biggest douche in Hong Kong.
Surnamed Yung, the 38-year-old was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning for allegedly shoving to the ground a 75-year-old woman collecting cardboard boxes. Unbelievable.
According to Apple Daily, Yung was drunk and walking along Cheung Wah Street in Cheung Sha Wan around 2am on Sunday morning when he encountered the cardboard granny, surnamed Lam, pushing her cart loaded with empty boxes.
Seemingly lacking any modicum of humanity, he reportedly began to accost the elderly woman, asking whether she received government welfare.
Absurdly, he then accused her of stealing the empty cardboard boxes and, at one point, demanded to see her Hong Kong identity card.
Lam, quite understandably, tried her best to ignore the drunken bully, only to have him then allegedly push her to the ground. What a strong man, eh, pushing over a 75-year-old woman.
Passersby called the police, who arrested Yung.
Lam, meanwhile, was taken to the hospital, to treat pain to her hands and back.
According to the newspaper, Lam has been living on her own in the Cheung Sha Wan area for the last few months.
She added she had never seen Yung before so wasn’t sure why she was targeted.
The why, as far as it apparent, is that some people are just dicks.
