A fender bender in Yuen Long took an ugly turn Thursday night as a driver drove off with a man clinging onto the hood of her car after a disagreement.

The incident began when the woman driving a purple hatchback crashed into a white van in front and the male driver approached her to negotiate compensation, HK01 reported

Videos showed the woman trying to drive away after a heated argument, and the man leaning on the hood of her car to stop her from leaving. She then hit the brakes, ramming him with her vehicle.

At that point, the woman appeared to slow down, but she then made a U-turn on the road and accelerated with the man still hanging onto the front of her car. Passersby could be heard exclaiming “whoa, whoa,” in shock, and yelling at the woman to stop.

“That’s f***ing insane,” a witness who filmed the scene screamed.

After about 120 meters, the man was thrown off the car. He suffered injuries to his abdomen and hands, and received treatment at a nearby hospital.

The woman’s car was later found abandoned and severely damaged after reportedly colliding with a minibus on Yuen Long Highway—about two kilometers from the initial accident scene, according to Apple Daily

The police are tracking down the woman and as of Friday evening, no arrests had been made.

Before the first accident, the woman was spotted buying food at a nearby restaurant. Staff there said she was acting “weirdly” when she came in, according to a comment on the restaurant’s Facebook page late Thursday night.
