60-year-old man arrested for allegedly stealing luggage from airport bus

A 60-something-year-old Hong Kong man has been arrested on suspicion of stealing two pieces of luggage from an airport bus.

HK01 reports that the victims, two men aged 29 and 57, reported their baggage stolen whilst travelling on a bus from Hong Kong International Airport to Hong Kong Island.

The thefts occurred on Jan. 1 and July 24 of this year, respectively, and were both reported to the police on the day they happened. The cumulative loss of property totalled HKD40,000.

After months of investigation, police officers arrested a 60-year-old man surnamed Wu in a Tsing Yi estate flat yesterday morning.
