This April, the Hong Kong Sevens is back and the party is bigger and better than ever. But it’s not just about the games. (Although we gotta say, the matches will be killer!) This year the best part of the Sevens might just be all the cool things that are happening off the rugby pitch. From dedicated fan zones to food and drink extravaganzas and fun family activities, there are almost too many things to get excited about.

Oh, and did we mention that there’s an app unlocking all of the best Sevens-related dining deals in town? Don’t get blindsided by any of these awesome activities, read on and join the party!

So there’s no better place for a rugby-themed party paradise. The Cathay Pacific/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens FanWalk will transform Lee Gardens into a party zone, bringing the famous Sevens atmosphere from the rugby pitch to the heart of Causeway Bay.

Family friendly attractions include live dance performances, face painting, karaoke singalongs, African drums and even juggling, unicycling and stiltwalking. Food booths will serve up delicious fan favorites from seven sport-loving countries: South Africa, Australia, UK, US, Italy, France and Belgium. But that’s just a little taste of all the entertainment to expect.

Watch rugby come alive

In addition to all the entertainment, there will be live rugby action direct from the Stadium on the big screen and alternative live rugby commentary by Jed Thian. (Despite the stiltwalking, there are some serious games going on, people!)

There will even be rugby challenges and the chance grab a drink with Sevens Rugby Ambassadors including South African great Jean de Villiers; British Lion and Welsh Captain, Gareth Thomas; and Sevens Legends Waisale Serevi, Ben Gollings and David Campese.
