SOULS OF HONG KONG – We met Juliet and her son, Gasper, on Pottinger Street in Central. Juliet, from France, has been living in Hong Kong for seven years. She shared with us her thoughts on being a full-time mother, “Being a full-time mum is hard. I don’t get enough sleep and am always exhausted as I spend a lot of time and energy on taking care Gasper but it’s definitely worth it as I see my baby learning and growing every day.”
Souls of Hong Kong is a new Coconuts series of street portrait photography inspired by Brandon Stanton’s Humans of New York. Every human has a story to tell, and we intend to share some from the millions of souls who call Hong Kong home.
