A woman was charged with assault causing serious injury after she was caught on CCTV footage stabbing a Boots worker who she believed was seeing her husband.
Wannakorn Krodkaew, 27, was seen repeatedly slashing the shop assistant Looknam Kaipetch, 19, with a pair of scissors at Boots in Central Plaza Grand Rama 9 on Monday afternoon, Khaosod English reported.
In the video, Wannakorn was seen wandering around the shop with a friend before she spotted the woman she believed was seeing her husband, and rushed at her, stabbing her repeatedly.
Other customers and staff intervened, eventually pulling the two women apart. Looknam was taken to hospital to be treated for her injuries.
Wannakorn admitted to police she was going to meet with Looknam to discuss her suspicions about her seeing her husband, but once she saw the other woman she could not control her rage and attacked her.
