The sale of alcohol will resume starting Sunday, the Royal Gazette announced today.

Despite signaling yesterday the ban would not be lifted, the news that it would expire came today with one condition: customers must drink it at home.

The COVID-19 task force, which had advised leaving it in place, is expected to elaborate further tomorrow.

Restaurants that sell alcohol are allowed to open but drinking inside the venues will be prohibited, the order said.
