World Lindy Hop day is a celebration of swing dancing around the world. Bangkok will host it’s own World Lindy Hop celebration at Bangkok’s swing dance club, The Hop in Silom on Saturday night.
The dress-up party has a vintage nerd theme. There will also be performances by some of the teachers.
Don’t have a partner? No problem. Swing dance is a social dance where you change partners after every song. No one shows up with a partner and sticks with them the entire night. It’s a great way to meet people!
Don’t know the steps? Also not an issue. The Hop’s teachers are offering a free open beginner lesson from 8-830pm.

9:50-10:20pm: Performances by The Hop
10:20-11pm: Social dancing with a DJ
