Spanish artist offers his take on Thai capital

One night in Bangkok and the world may be your oyster, but Spanish artist David Delgado has experienced life as fresh meat in the City of Angels for two months.

Tentacles, where the artist has been in residency, will host an open-studio session this weekend at Studio Miu Bangkok showing what the work that’s resulted.

Delgado said he’s sifted through the Thai capital’s chaos for inspiration for his paintings and video work to share his experiences through playful and innocent works in bold, contrasting color using hand-drawn organic lines. The fruits of this will be on display Saturday evening.

The opening reception starts at 5pm.
