Royal Crematorium now available in virtual reality

The Royal Crematorium of late King Bhumibol Adulyadej is the Thai artists’ depiction of a heaven, and you can now observe the magnificent structures online in virtual reality.

For those who won’t have the opportunity to visit Bangkok or to queue up to see the Royal Crematorium, now they can now see the artworks in details on www.songcharoen.com/phrameru.

On the website, you can observe the first, second, and third tiers of the crematorium in 360 degrees, with “Blue Day,” the song composed by King Bhumibol, playing in the background, Thai PBS reported.

The project was initiated by HRH Princess Sirivannavari Nariratana, together with the alumni and lecturers of Chulalongkorn University, the International College of Bangkok University, and Rajamangala University of Technology Thanyaburi.

For those who’d like to visit the Royal Crematorium, they can do so until Dec. 31.
