On Prayuth’s birthday, he reflects ‘I am what I am’

It’s Prayuth’s 63rd birthday today and, to celebrate, he accepted a group birthday card from members of the press at Government House.

And why shouldn’t the media thank him? He has supplied endless items, both hilarious and serious, for them to write about over the last few years since he took control of the government via a coup.

Upon accepting his card, Prayuth acknowledged that he has, at times, been aggressive with members of the press but he chalked it up to his stressful job as non-elected leader of Thailand and noted that he didn’t have bad feelings towards them, reported The Nation.

While he did not apologize for his past behavior, he did reflect for a moment before asserting, “I am what I am,” and asked reporters to realize that every PM is different.

Like a bunch of special snowflakes.
