Prayuth shows off volleyball skills to national women’s team (VIDEO)

He threw a banana peel at a photographer. He surprised a Muay Thai fighter with a kick. Yesterday, Prayuth proved his strong athleticism once again by showing off his volleyball skills at the Government House.

If only the junta chief was talented in other departments.

Prime Minister Prayuth Chan-ocha gave a warm welcome to the women’s national volleyball team yesterday. They were returning from competing in the World Olympic Qualification Tournament in Japan.

Famous for going off-script, the junta chief could not resist asking the athletes to serve him a volleyball, which he then tossed back to the team. The ball was well-received by one of the players.

But that wasn’t his best throw. Prayuth asked for a second try. This time, he demanded Wanna Buakaew, the team captain, receive the ball.

And she missed.

Player Willawan Apinyawong told the press that Prayuth’s serve was pretty strong, so journalists should be careful around him.
