Udon Thani will have to forego this month’s topless “PlayBoy” pool party after police dropped the banhammer over attention to all the boob-squeezing which goes on.
The pool party, said to be held occasionally at Milin Park and Pool in the northeastern province, was cancelled after a netizen called attention to this “exclusive party” by posting screenshots of raunchy fondling and displaying of breasts from a previous party featured in a promo video.
“This is too extreme. This destroys the image, values, and belief of young girls in Udon Thani. What are the influential people of the town doing?” the anonymous Pantip user wrote Saturday.
Most Pantippers completely disagreed, pointing out that boobs exist and are displayed everywhere.
The YouTube video where the screenshots were taken from has since been deleted.
Nonetheless, Udon Thani police Deputy Commander Sumit Nansanit said Wednesday he has instructed all pools and water parks in the province not to allow topless pool parties, and ordered the cancellation of the next “PlayBoy” party scheduled for July 25.
The boob venue, Milin Park and Pool told police they only rented out their restaurant for the private party on March 27 when the controversial promo video was shot, adding its organizers and ladies were not from Udon Thani. They said the organizers threw the parties in different provinces for local rich people, police Col. Bhumwit Vejkama said.
Bhumwit said the topless coyotees who shamelessly allowed guests touch their boobs could be charged with public obscenity and face a fine of up to THB5,000, while the venue would be held responsible as well, TNews reported.
