Today, Uber Bangkok has ditched the estimated fare system and started quoting riders the exact fare they will have to pay, just like GrabCar.
On top of the upfront fares, the popular ride-sharing app also introduces a new feature to allow riders to add extra stops to their ride, which minimizes communication with the driver and is helpful to expats and tourists who don’t speak Thai.
Uber allows up to three destinations and if you stop more than three minutes at each destination, an extra fare will be added.
GrabCar also rolled out the multiple stop function in May.
