California’s In-N-Out Burger is doing a popup at Siam Discovery today, and its FOMO-based marketing strategy is paying off in the form of a long, long damn line of people.
Those wondering how long the queue for the much-crazed-over California burgers is, here are some photos that might spoil your appetite for burger hype.
Sans their famed animal fries, In-N-Out still brought buns and cheese from its West Coast mothership, ensuring a relatively similar taste to the original. A poll of die-hards there today confirmed the burgers were “legit.”
The Double-Double set (THB230) with choice of beverage and chips, sees juicy two beef patties, lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and secret sauce. We loved the burgers but didn’t think it worth the price for a set since the chips tasted a lot like plain-old Lay’s.
The popup ends at 4pm today, but they’re likely to sell out before that. Just make sure you have cash before you start queuing; otherwise, the staff will tell you you need to start over. Haha.
