Fire broke out in Emporium’s parking lot, no injuries

A fire broke out inside the parking lot of Emporium shopping mall at 9am today. No casualties were reported.

The fire reportedly broke out in the basement of luxury mall’s parking out where they stored cardboard boxes, which fueled the blaze and helped it to spread quickly.

It took about 30 minutes for firemen to put out the fire.

According to the mall’s staff, they initially tried to control the fire themselves but were not successful. There were no vehicles parked in the building at the time.

Authorities are working to determine the cause of the fire, Thairath reported.
