In a post that went viral this week, a Thai transwoman revealed she spent over THB500,000 (US$16,000) for a total face makeover in South Korea to look like local superstar Urassaya “Yaya” Sperbund.
Wanchaleom Jamneanphol’s surgery “review” has gotten thousands of shares and was picked up by local media after she posted photos and a video that wowed netizens, who were shocked at how much she now looks like the Thai actress.
“Do I look like Yaya?” said the text splashed across the video.
Wanchaleom wrote that she has undergone a facial restructuring, rhinoplasty, and chin surgery. She has also had fat injected into her face to achieve the look.

The commenters agreed that Wanchaleom looks like Yaya’s twin, and many spoke out in support of Wanchaleom’s decision to have surgeries.
“I love that she has had such a beautiful transformation. Other people might think surgeries make her fake, but I think going under the knife just helps people who are self-conscious become confident,” a woman wrote.
Another top comment sums up life in 2018: “You are as beautiful as the depth of your wallet.”
