Down dogs and up kitties: Expats do yoga with cats for charity (PHOTOS)

One kitty was adopted and money raised to care for others yesterday at a charity yoga session featuring homeless cats at Yogatique.

Fifteen participants, mostly expat women, perfectly maintained their cat poses despite having seven furry bodies running around the studio, including their excellencies “Num” and “Train Kitty,” the cat ambassadors of the Pet Animal Welfare Society, or PAWS.

The event raised THB6,000 to care and feed for PAWS’ cat shelter in Bangkok.

One handsome black kitty was adopted.

Yogatique said they had a waiting list of 30 people wanting to join the event, which was part of its Sunday Karma series of classes benefiting small, local charities.

If you missed out, stay tuned for the next exciting yoga with cats event.
