Bangkok’s stock continues to rise as a destination for international acts, and this time we get something more recent than the hotness of 1996.
California indie-pop band Echosmith are so far a one-hit wonder with 2013’s “Cool Kids,” but they’re still in the now and in August will play The Palladium Hall.
One of those family bands, the Sierota siblings of Graham, Sydney, Noah and Jamie formed the band in 2009 and cite Coldplay, The Smiths, U2 and Joy Division as their influences. Really? Not hearing emotional torture of Ian Curtis here, maybe they mean inspiration for their wardrobes.
Anyhoo the band has previously performed alongside Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran and Zedd.
According to the organizer, tickets will “soon” be available online for THB1,500 and later at THB1,800.
