One of two Filipino swimmers missing since they were swept out to sea off Phuket was found dead Friday afternoon.
The body was discovered by a passerby on Freedom Beach, two days after the pair were carried away from the same beach by strong waves and winds, according to Kwanchanok Tanachasakarn of the Kusoldharm Foundation.
Kwanchanok said divers had been out again this morning looking for the missing men, but bad sea conditions and high waves hindered their progress.
