BKK baggage handler says he was stabbed by 10 men

A Suvarnabhumi International Airport baggage handler who said he was stabbed by a gang of employees was recovering from his injuries today.

Yuthasat Buachaturut, 23, was found stabbed in the hip on airport property last night. He was given first aid and taken to Chularat 9 Hospital for further treatment.

According to Yuthasat, he was making his way home when 10 men surrounded him and stabbed him before dispersing. He told the authorities that he believes his attackers were members of a rival employee gang motivated by “personal matters.” He did not elaborate.

The authorities are investigating.
