A Beautiful Mind actor Russel Crowe is in Bangkok and very delighted by its infamous electrical art installations.
The Kiwi-gone-Hollywood star last night tweeted several photos of the capital including selfies in front of a row of tuk-tuks, a Chinese shrine and another grinning before a nest of tangled overhead cables.
“Bangkok dreaming…,” tweeted the 57-year-old actor.
We must say, we’ve seen much more impressive examples of this unique form of heritage that could go the way of the Dodo.
Crowe tweeted a few days ago that he was boarding a plane to shoot a film in Thailand, his first air travel after two years. Arriving on the island of Phuket via its “sandbox” scheme, he later tweeted to show off his luxe digs at Amanpuri.
Crowe is shooting an upcoming drama called The Greatest Beer Run Ever with Zac Efron, and Thailand will play its usual role: Vietnam. The film’s plot revolves around a Marine Corps veteran who proposes sneaking back into the war-torn country with beer for his childhood buddies still fighting there.
Someone even spotted Crowe and Efron strolling through a Bangkok soi.
