For another year, a stray dog living at Chiang Mai University known as “Shortie” joined the freshman run up the province’s famous mountain, Doi Suthep — a tradition continued each year by the students.

In the annual 14-kilometer run on Friday, Shortie was photographed and filmed sprinting at full speed along the students from the Faculty of Engineering.

He also waited around for the freshmen from the Faculty of Agriculture along the way.
