Weed & Jams: New Bangkok nightclub ‘Juicy’ now caters to lovers of cannabis & hip-hop

You can roll joints under the gaze of Biggie and Tupac now that Bangkok’s new hip-hop club has added cannabis to its menu.

Over the years, hip-hop and weed have maintained a tight-knit relationship and so it comes as no surprise that Juicy, a recently opened hip-hop club in Soi Sukhumvit 11, would lean into it. Only a few days after cannabis decriminalization in Thailand, the nightlife venue started its own in-house dispensary featuring more than a dozen local and international buds.

Selling by the gram and the ounce, the venue’s dispensary can be found the moment a customer walks through the door, right underneath the giant Biggie and Tupac mural – an impressive piece of wall art courtesy of graffiti artists Omeka and Dave Horgan.

Smell, chat, buy, and grab some rolling papers. The deck is smoke friendly so visitors can light while also getting their clubbing fix. The menu is extensive — with over a dozen varieties to try — and caters to a wide assortment of weed lovers. Local and international strains are sold and the staff on hand are happy to help customers pick their poison.

Like to game while high? There is also an arcade machine for you to button mash, because this place is all about catering to your inner 90s kid — music and all.

Under the current regulations, people are prohibited from selling cannabis to those under 20, or pregnant or breastfeeding women. People also should not smoke in public or risk being charged with causing a public nuisance.

Juicy is located underneath Sugar, a long-time clubbing favorite in Soi Sukhumvit 11. The venue is reachable via a few-minute walk or a motorbike taxi from BTS Nana.
