For those of you wondering what Thor is up to on his Thailand trip, you’re in luck.
Chris Hemsworth, the Australian actor (and, frankly, world renowned eye-candy) best known for his role as Thor within the Marvel Cinematic Universe, has apparently proven himself no match for Thai locals when it comes to soccer.
In a video posted to the actor’s Instagram account two days ago, Hemsworth can be seen playing ball with numerous locals as well as his filming crew on Friday night — and not very well, if we may be so bold.
In his reliably goofy fashion (and make no mistake, we’re suckers for it), Hemsworth misses the ball multiples times and fakes — presumably, anyway — several dramatic falls.
“To be honest, I found zero enjoyment in embarrassing both the locals and our crew on the pitch last night in Thailand,” Hemsworth captions sarcastically on his post.
Guess we can’t all be good at everything, huh?
Hemsworth arrived in Thailand to film his upcoming Netflix thriller Dhaka at the beginning of December.
He will reportedly be filming in Bangkok and Phuket until February.
Four days ago, he posted a video of himself shooting underwater at an undisclosed location with the film’s director, Sam Hargrave.

This isn’t the first time the actor has made good-natured headlines in local media. On the day he arrived, Hemsworth went viral for complaining about Bangkok traffic.
Overall, however, Hemsworth appears to be enjoying his time filming in Thailand (if social media is any indication), and we think it’s pretty accurate to say the feeling is mutual.
Feel free to stay as long as you want, Chris!
